Dr. Shirley M. Mayton is an Executive Coach and Leadership Development Strategist with over 30 years’ experience. She has developed and executed mission critical strategies for multiple domestic and global clients to improve leadership bench strength. She focuses on sharpening strategy execution by enhancing leadership capability through a holistic approach of coaching, training, and “hands-on” application, resulting in accelerated performance improvement for her clients.
A published thought leader and an accomplished public speaker, she has delivered over 50+ presentations and webinars, covering topics such as strategic leadership development, building a coaching culture, developing high-potential talent, leading in complexity, and measuring the ROI of talent development.
Shirley received a Ph.D. in Organizational Systems from Fielding Graduate University, Santa Barbara, Ca. She has a M.A. in Communications from San Diego State University, and a B.A. in Psychology from West Virginia University. She holds both a SPHR and SHRM-SCP HR Certification and is a member of the Academy of Management, with a special interest in applied organizational research.
